What you can specify

Every straw hat we quote is built from these decisions.

We do not work to a fixed house standard. Each of the points below is set per style, which is why a quote needs a little detail from you before it means anything.

Shape & silhouette

Wide brim, floppy, boater, bucket, cloche, fedora or western. Crown height and brim width are set on a physical block, so the profile stays identical across a run.

Blocked shape · Consistent profile

Straw material

Natural raffia, paper straw, seagrass, wheat straw or blended braid. Material drives hand-feel, structure and cost more than any other single choice.

Raffia · Paper · Seagrass · Wheat

Brim & edge finish

Bound, raw, frayed or stitched brim edges. Brim can run flat, gently rolled or wired so the customer can shape it.

Bound · Raw · Frayed · Wired

Bands & trims

Grosgrain, cotton, leather, raffia cord, scarves, shells, beads or fabric bows. Trims are the cheapest way to differentiate one shape across a range.

Ribbon · Leather · Raffia cord · Bow

Your branding

Woven inner labels, printed sweatbands, embroidered or printed patches, metal badges, care labels and branded hangtags.

Woven label · Patch · Hangtag

Packaging & export

Individual poly bags, tissue, printed sleeves, gift boxes and custom carton marks, packed to your carton spec for export.

Poly bag · Sleeve · Gift box · Carton marks

Order quantity

Order any quantity on stock — brand it from 100 pieces.

MOQ is the first thing most buyers ask, so here it is plainly. The minimum exists to cover branding setup, not to gate the order.

Stock & standard styles

No MOQ

Existing shapes, colours and trims with no branding change. Any quantity, from a single trial carton upward.

Custom trims & your logo

From 100 pcs

Your bands, trims, woven labels, hangtags and packaging. Workable at 100, though unit price is higher because setup spreads over fewer units.

Recommended

300 pcs +

Where most private-label buyers order. Setup cost spreads far better, so unit price drops noticeably with full customization retained.

Sizes follow our standard grid: toddler 48–52 cm, child 52–54 cm, youth 54–56 cm, adult S–XL 55–62 cm, and one-size 56–58 cm on an inner drawstring. Custom size grids are available for your market.

Common questions

What buyers ask before ordering.

What is the minimum order for custom straw hats?

Stock styles have no minimum, so any quantity can be ordered. Once you add custom trims or your own logo the minimum is 100 pieces, though unit price is higher at that level. From 300 pieces upward pricing improves noticeably, which is where most private-label buyers order.

Which straw materials can you produce?

Natural raffia, paper straw, seagrass and rush, wheat straw, fine toquilla-style braid and polypropylene blends. Paper straw gives the widest colour range at the best price; natural raffia suits higher retail price points.

What hat sizes do you make?

Toddler 48–52 cm, child 52–54 cm, youth 54–56 cm, adult S 55–56 cm through XL 61–62 cm, and one-size 56–58 cm with an inner drawstring. Custom size grids can be built for your market.

How long does a custom sample take?

An existing sample can ship quickly to confirm workmanship. A custom sample — new shape, material or branding — typically needs longer because tooling and trims are made to your spec. We confirm the timeline with your quote.
